Serie "Itinerario Incierto"
Basada en toma de fotografías personales, esta nueva serie monocromática aborda una problematica actual y vuelve a tener a la mujer como personaje principal.
Based on the taking of personal photographs, this new monochromatic series addresses a current issue and once again features women as its main character.
Serie "Revolución de la Esperanza"
El cuerpo de obra de esta serie atraviesa el universo femenino: la Mujer como principal protagonista escénica viajando por distintos espacios ilusorios.
Con una mirada lúdica y sutilmente humorística mi intención es aprehender algo de lo real y lo simbólico que hay en los estereotipos referidos al paso del tiempo y a la figura femenina.
Históricamente los roles de género y edad conllevan -entre otras cuestiones- desigualdad, discriminación, dependencia y violencia. Mis obras se erigen como un homenaje a la Mujer y cuestionan desde el absurdo, estas construcciones culturales.
The body of work of this series crosses the feminine universe: Women as the main stage protagonists travelling through different illusory spaces.
With a playful and subtly humorous look, my intention is to apprehend some of the real and the symbolic in the stereotypes referring to the passage of time and the female figure.
Historically, gender and age roles entail -among other issues- inequality, discrimination, dependence and violence. My works stand as a tribute to women and question these cultural constructions from the absurd.
Serie "Norte"
“Norte” me brota del alma. Luego de un viaje por el norte de Argentina y habiendo vivido en las hermosas ciudades bolivianas de La Paz y Cochabamba, los tejidos y las texturas, los tintes y la tierra, se expresan, hablan y cuentan.
Serie breve pero intensa. Serie de desgarro, de polvo y entraña. Serie que grita sin sonido y que parece flotar.
Eso es “Norte”: una bocanada de colores que irrumpe mi ser.
"Norte" springs from my soul. After a trip through the north of Argentina and having lived in beautiful Bolivian cities of La Paz and Cochabamba, the fabrics and textures, the dyes and the earth, express themselves, they speak and tell.
A short but intense series. A series of tears, dust and entrails. A series that screams without sound and seems to float.
That is "Norte": a breath of colour that bursts into my being.
